| How much are portraits? We offer packages starting around $180, or you may order individual prints. Just to give you an idea, a single 8x10 is priced at $51.00. Basically, you can order whatever you want. If you are ordering several prints, we can help you make a package out of your individualized order, if none of the packages listed seem to work. When you have portraits taken, you pay a session fee. This is based on the type of photography you want. Session fees start at $90.00. When do I pay? You pay your session fee when you have portraits taken. When you order your portraits, you pay half of the total when you place the order, and the balance when you pick up your finished portraits, 4-6 weeks later. We accept all major credit cards, check, and cash. How long does it take to get portraits and proofs? You will see your images the day we shoot, whether indoors, outdoors, or on location. You can actually order the same day as we shoot if you would like. If you prefer to see proofs, it takes about 1 week for web proofs to be available. Once you place your order, it takes 4-6 weeks for finished portraits. Some rushing of orders is available on a request basis. Do you shoot film or digital? Our studio shoots film and digital imaging. Depending on the job, the photographer usually makes the determination based on the client’s needs. Our processing is all done professionally, to guarantee the highest quality, clarity, color, and density. Because we create many large portraits, our cameras, film, digital imaging and printing are all done with professional grade equipment. Can you fix my blemishes or wrinkles? We offer different finishes on our portraits. All of our portrait finishes include retouching, which means we can fix blemishes and wrinkles. We can also switch heads in a group portrait, change backgrounds and do extensive altering if necessary. What if I don't like my portraits? We have a satisfaction guarantee on all of our portraits. If you're unhappy with your portraits, we will cheerfully retake or remake your portraits, or refund any monies paid. What kind of backgrounds do you have? We have approximately 40 different backgrounds. Indoors we offer very traditional to quite contemporary backgrounds. Outdoors we offer lush garden areas and rustic sets. At the Texas studio we also offer a waterfall and pool area, western sets and bridges. In Washington we offer a beachfront on Puget Sound and an all white piano room. We also go on location to your home, ranch, the lake, local parks, the Historic downtown areas, and some other interesting locations or special place you would like to be photographed, whether indoors or outdoors. Can I bring my pet to my session? We have photographed dogs, cats, horses, pigs, cows, and iguanas with their owners here at our studio. You can also bring musical instruments, sporting equipment - anything that shows your individuality. |
